*sits on a different chair* Hugo, listen to me. We love you and Rose equally. I know it might feel like Rose is getting more attention right now, but it's only because she's starting Hogwarts for the first time, and there's a lot of things we have to do to prepare, not to mention that we won't see her all year. Think about it. Once Rose is away at Hogwarts, you'll be the only kid in the house. All of our attention will be for you.

Yes, I know, but.. *takes a deep breath looking down at the carpet* Rose is really smart like you.. and, and she.. can do lots of stuff.. she looks like dad.. she has red hair and I look way different, and I am short and she is tall.. It's just.. unfair.

Hugo, you're smart too. And yes, Rose is a bit more like me, but that doesn't mean I love her more than you! You're more like your father, and if you'll remember, he's the one I loved enough to marry. I love you both equally. As for looks, what do those have to do with anything? I know red hair's a bit of a pride point for the Weasleys, but most of your cousins don't have red hair, and looks aren't important anyway. Believe it or not, I used to look rather plain. People used to make fun of me for it. *smiles a bit* And as for height, you're short because you're nine. You'll most likely be taller than Rose some day.

Awesome.. *he stands up and sits next to her in the chair/half on her lap* I am sorry I went over here without telling you.. I just was so sick of it.. especially because she was mean to me again today, I just wanted to get out of the house and go to grandma's and eat some cookies. Because her cookies are the best of all time.

*chuckles* Your grandma does make good cookies. My parents were dentists, so all I ever got were sugar-free ones. But Hugo, you should never be afraid to come talk to your dad or me if something is bothering you. That's what we're here for.

*feeling guilty he nods* Yes mummy, I will.. and I bet the sugar-free cookies were horrible. I have seen grandma making her cookies and there is a lot of sugar in those, which means that they are delicious.
