The situation with the new Death Eaters goes from bad to much, much worse. As the Hogwarts term begins, Death Eaters take Hermione hostage and kidnap her baby, but most people believe she is dead, causing a split between Hermione and Ron and Ron to move into the Burrow. Hermione becomes very motivated to find her daughter, while Ron is motivated to bring her killer to justice. Theodosia causes problems for everyone at school, including Emily, who is starting off the year amid suspicions about her relation to Voldemort. The effects of the baby's presumed death ripple across the family, with the adults horrified at the prospect of another war and many of their children determined to get to the bottom of the situation. Rafe gets suspicious and Ashley has a change of heart and decides to help. Sapphire has a baby and leaves her husband, and Ginny moves in with him to get information. Theodosia lets information slip. Rose, Albus, Scorpius, and Polly begin an investigation, and Lily is eager to start one as well. Plans for the wedding continue. Saturday, September 1, 2018

They apparate her to St. Mungo's, and she gets angry that they saved her and left behind her and Ron's daughter. They go search for the baby, and Hermione talks to Sapphire. Meanwhile, Hugo and Arthur listen to the radio and hear about what happened. Arthur talks to Molly and then takes Hugo to visit Hermione. Ron returns from his search with Harry believing the baby to be dead, and Hermione gets furious with him and kicks him out. He talks to Arthur and then tells Hugo. Tuesday, September 4, 2018While wandering around in the early morning, James steps on Emily in her snake form and injures her, resulting in her going to the hospital wing. Rafe teaches his first class of the year. Early in the morning, Rita Skeeter told the world about the baby's presumed death, and it begins to circulate around Hogwarts. Molly, Albus, and Fred discuss what happened to their cousin and see Ron, who has come to pick up Rose. He talks to her in the library. Meanwhile, James and Emily encounter a bully, who prompts James into taking action. Professor McGonagall intervenes and later confronts Peeves. Ron goes to confront Rita Skeeter, and Ginny helps. Hagrid talks to Emily. Meanwhile, Sapphire has a son and learns that Bertram is a Death Eater, promptly ending the marriage and naming her son Sirius. MayBertram tries to kidnap his and Ashley's daughter, leading to Ron and Hermione's reconciliation and them finally rescuing their baby. However, some people have a difficult time adjusting. Harry becomes Acting Minister of Magic and Victoire and Teddy learn they are to be parents. Wednesday, May 15, 2019Bertram realizes that what Ashley said at the custody hearing means they have a child together. After getting information from her he goes to kidnap Mary, and Ashley goes for help. Mary is brought first to the Notts' house, where she sees the baby, then to Bertram's. At the same time, Rafe takes James and Albus to investigate Bertram's house and they find and rescue Mary. Mary then tells Ashley what she saw, and Ashley quickly tells Ron, who storms the Ministry to tell Hermione he has realized she was right. They make up and go to rescue the baby, but Ron gets injured in the process; they are all reunited at the Burrow, where Molly asks them to stay indefinitely and is upset after Hermione turns her down.
