He's treating me like a child. He was a much bigger troublemaker than I am when he went to Hogwarts. My sister was attacked and my mum is living with another man... I try to step up and do something and I'm the bad guy? Why was he allowed to go out fighting dragons and dementors, but me? I have to stick to my studies!

He didn't say much at all. Longbottom stuck his nose in and told my dad. Yeah just because your relatives do something bad, doesn't mean you do too. But this is serious. We can't rule anything out if we're too afraid of offending people.

That's true, on some level. But isn't he Muggleborn? Doesn't seem like the most likely contender for a Death Eater. I don't know too much, though. As for your dad... he might be a hypocrite, but I think he's mostly trying to keep you safe. Bit rich of him to tell you not to try and get involved, though... how's your sister doing?
