AugustThe month of August brings changes as it sets the stage for a coming conflict. A prophecy comes to light that provides context for things that have happened and confusion for what is to come. Ginny breaks her cover and returns home, sparking some family drama but finally solving Harry and James's feud. Arthur and Molly take in the children of Death Eaters, and professors prepare for another year at Hogwarts.

Jean finally starts to warm up to her new setting. Neville and Hannah talk about things while they play with Alice. Lily and James have a talk about fears and school. That night, the Death Eaters have a meeting, at which Ginny hears an important prophecy. When she is asked to kill Timothy Nott, she instead grabs him and escapes to the Burrow, while his parents are held captive. At the Burrow, Timothy settles in while Ginny explains the situation. Meanwhile, James continues to be angry and rude towards his father, and plans to run away before he is stopped by Ginny returning home. Ginny learns what's going on and what's been happening, then gets angry at Harry for hitting James and threatens to leave. She and Lily reunite, then she goes to talk to James about the situation with Harry. Lily overhears and joins in, and James finally agrees to forgive his father. A mass breakout at Azkaban prison sends people reeling, and some of the students take investigations into their own hands. Meanwhile, relationship drama takes center stage on multiple fronts: James finds that his crush, Emily, is dating his best friend, Taylor, Molly and Emmett get into a fight after he tries to use the Resurrection Stone, and Harry tells Ginny that his strange behavior has been due to someone messing with his mind. Friends and family members talk on the train. Meanwhile, Ron and George talk at the shop. Alan brings the Notts to Azkaban. The sorting ceremony begins, causing a bit of a stir, and during it there is a massive breakout from Azkaban of over 30 Death Eaters, including the Notts, Rabastan Lestrange, and Dolores Umbridge. Rose and Scorpius follow Carrow out during the ceremony and learn this. Later that evening, Emmett goes to visit Molly Jr. in the Griffindor Common Room. James overhears him telling Molly Jr. that he is the new Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. Early in the morning, Alan tells Harry he brought the Notts to Azkaban. A little while later, Hermione returns to work, and she, Harry, and Alan learn about the breakout the previous night. Rafe teaches his first class of the year. Ginny and Audrey meet for lunch and Audrey tells her that Lucy was sorted into Ravenclaw, while Angelina tells Ron that Roxanne is in Hufflepuff while he waits to talk to George about work. The Notts go to the Burrow to get Timothy back, but he chooses to stay with the Weasleys instead. Hermione comes home and tells Ron about the prison break. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny piece together the connection to the prophecy. Emmett finds a mysterious ring while he and Molly Jr. take a stroll through the Forbidden Forest. When he holds the ring he sees his dead parents, but Molly Jr. convinces him to leave it due to her concerns that it might contain dark magic. James overhears Emmett and Molly Jr. discussing the ring and follows Emmett to the Forbidden Forest where Emmett retrieves it. Mid-morning, Molly Jr's class is cancelled so she goes to surprise Emmett on the pitch where he is practicing. While on his broom he is holding the ring and sees his dead parents. He drops the ring and while reaching for it falls off his broom and injures his arm. Molly Jr. visits him in the hospital ring and tells him she's going to find out more about it and promises to bring it back. Hugo and Roxanne's parents receive owls explaining their behaviour and detentions. Angelina goes to Hogwarts to talk to Roxanne about it, meanwhile Ron goes to talk to Hugo who tries to convince his dad that it was Sapphire's fault. Ron goes to Sapphire to settle the matter. Elsewhere, James holds tryouts for Griffindor Chaser. Rose makes the team and Scorpius cheers her on. Scorpius congratulates her and they tell Albus the good news and fill him in on the prison break. James is about to ask out Emily until she tells him she's going out with Taylor and he's crushed. Dominique and Molly notice James is down in the dumps and Dominique informs her that Emily is dating Taylor. Molly goes to the ministry to show Hermione the ring. Hermione says she thinks it’s the resurrection stone and tells her the effects it has on the person holding it. She takes it for safe keeping. Molly Jr. tells Emmett and they fight. He kicks her out for not bringing the stone back. Emily finds her crying and they talk about the boys in their lives. Molly Jr. informs her that James fancies her. Hugo talks to Molly Jr. about wanting to play Quidditch and missing his parents. At the end of the day, Hermione tells Ron about Molly coming to her office. They discuss the resurrection stone and Hermione shares that she thinks Harry is still the Master of Death. Another attack leaves everybody reeling and an ensuing threat to her children causes Hermione to step down as Minister of Magic and give the job to Percy, who decides to run for it permanently. In order to protect their children Ron and Hermione move into Hogwarts for the last couple weeks of term, to the dismay of their family.
Friday, June 5, 2020Rose is attacked by a monster while she and Scorpius are in the Forbidden Forest; Hagrid takes her to the hospital wing. Ron and Hermione receive notice of the attack and go to Hogwarts. They talk by her bedside and then she wakes up.
