Ron, I'm sure that your family is first in her mind, and she's probably love to spend all her time with you. But when one is responsible for the well-being of an entire community, there are sacrifices to be made.

So basically sacrificing me and our kids? You're joking right?

Ron, I don't think you understand. She loves you, but she also loves the work she does. And it's not fair to tell her she has to give up her work just because you think she's too focused on it.

Well can't she still do the job but cut back her hours and not bring her work home? Or better yet, make me her partner so we can spend more time together and split the work?

It's an elected position, Ron, she can't just give you half of it. *frowns at his comment* That's the problem, isn't it? You don't feel that you're doing enough work to help.

UGH *kicks Percy's desk* Sorry mate... but why do I love that brilliant woman so much? I can't measure up to her. Can't measure up to Harry. To you. To Ginny. I'm always second rate. Makes me wanna just give up.

*puts his hand on Ron's shoulder* You're not "second rate," Ron. You shouldn't compare yourself to other people. And to say that you can't measure up to me? I wish I was more like you.

Ron, you have courage, and loyalty, and the humility to accept your mistakes. When the Ministry went against Harry and Dumbeldore about Voldemort's return, I sided with them. I left our family. It took me two years to realize my mistake, and nearly another whole year before I bothered to apologize. You all forgave me, and I'm still not entirely sure why. I still haven't forgiven myself. So don't ever say that you're not as good as I am. There are more important traits than intelligence and ambition. And Hermione knows that too.
